What is a wall mural?
A wall mural is a large-scale wallpaper design that covers your wall like one complete image. Unlike standard wallpaper patterns, murals create a seamless, statement look.
Are your murals made to fit my wall size?
Yes! All our wall murals are printed individually to match the exact dimensions of your wall. This ensures the best possible fit and appearance.
Do you offer custom design adjustment?
In many cases yes. If you have a custom idea, image, or request, feel free to contact us and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
Material & Print Quality
What material do you use?
We print on premium non-woven wallpaper paper (155 g/m²). It is durable, easy to apply, and designed for long-lasting results.
What is non-woven wallpaper?
Non-woven wallpaper is a high-quality wallpaper material made from a mix of natural and synthetic fibers. It is strong, breathable, and much easier to install than traditional paper wallpaper.
How is your wallpaper printed?
We print using a professional industry grade printer in the Netherlands, ensuring sharp details, smooth color transitions, and excellent durability.
What is the width of the lengths?
50 cm / 19.7 inches
Is the wallpaper finish matte or glossy?
Our murals have a matte finish, which reduces reflections and gives a soft, elegant look on the wall.
Are the colors exactly like on the screen?
We do our best to match colors accurately, but slight differences may occur depending on screen settings, lighting in the room, and wall surface. Please order samples to ensure color is as expected.
Installation & Application
Is the wallpaper easy to install?
Yes! Our non-woven wallpaper is designed for easy installation. You apply adhesive directly to the wall, not to the wallpaper. See our installation guide
Do you include wallpaper glue?
We do not include glue. We advise using adhesive suitable for non-woven wallpaper.
How is the wallpaper delivered?
Your mural is delivered as one roll that you will need to cut. Then you can align the panels together to create the full design on the wall.
Do you add extra margin for installation?
No, please include extra margin when ordering.
Can I install it myself or do I need a professional?
Many customers install it themselves, but for large walls or complex installations, professional help is recommended.
Wall Preparation
What wall surfaces are suitable?
The best surface is a clean, smooth, dry, and primed wall. Painted plasterboard or smooth plaster walls work perfectly.
Can I apply it on textured walls?
For best results, we recommend a smooth surface. Strong textures may affect the final look and adhesion.
Can I apply it in a bathroom or kitchen?
Yes, as long as the room is well ventilated and the mural is not exposed to direct water contact.
Ordering & Sizing
How do I measure my wall correctly?
Measure the full width and height of your wall in centimeters. Always measure in multiple places (top/middle/bottom) and use the largest measurement. See our measuring guide
Should I add extra centimeters?
Yes. We recommend adding 5–10 cm to both width and height to ensure full coverage, especially if your walls are uneven.
What if I entered the wrong wall size?
Contact us as soon as possible. If production has not started yet, we can adjust the order.
Shipping & Delivery
Where do you ship to?
We ship globally, including Europe, the USA, Canada, Australia, and many more countries.
Where do you ship from?
Mural wallpapers are printed and shipped from the Netherlands. Other products may be shipped from other locations that are most close to the destination location.
How long does delivery take?
Production usually takes a 2-5 business days. After we ship out, most orders arrive within 2–3 business days.
Will I have to pay customs or import fees?
No, we always try to handle tariffs and duties for you. If you encountered duties, contact us and we will refunt the amount:info@sveastudio.com
Returns & Issues
Can I return a mural?
Yes, you can return your unused wall mural if you are not 100% satisfied. Contact us in this case and we will help you: info@sveastudio.com
What if my wallpaper arrives damaged?
Please contact us immediately and include photos of the package and the wallpaper. We will find the best solution as quickly as possible.
What if the mural does not fit my wall?
If the issue is caused by a production error, we will reprint it. If the wrong measurements were provided during ordering, we will still try to help with a solution.
Care & Maintenance
Can I clean the wallpaper?
Yes. You can gently wipe the surface with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth. Avoid harsh cleaning products.
Is the wallpaper scratch-resistant?
It is durable, but like all wallpapers it should be treated with care to avoid damage from sharp objects.
Safety & Sustainability
Is your wallpaper safe for homes and children’s rooms?
Yes, our non-woven wallpaper is designed for indoor use and is suitable for living spaces, including bedrooms and children’s rooms.
Is the wallpaper environmentally friendly?
We use high-quality materials and professional printing methods designed for long-lasting use, which reduces waste compared to short-term decor products.
